Description
This listing is for the espresso collection pack of 4 x 250g bags.
We roast a mix of origins each week for espresso (blends and single estates), so we will choose a selection of our roasts for you based on our current schedule.
Espresso coffee is at its best when rested for a minimum of 12 days after roasting to allow it to de-gas and optimise in flavour. Coffees differ greatly, so this is just a rough guide. The lighter the roast, the longer the rest time required.
We roast on Mon - Thurs. Your coffee will be roasted within 5 days of purchase, with a shelf life of 4 weeks.
These beans have been roasted specifically for espresso. But depending on what type of espresso machine you have, will impact on which beans work well for you.
What machines can I make this coffee on?
If you opt for either Clockwork Blend or any Brazil espresso, you are safe to use it in any style of machine. However, if you choose any other single origin espresso option (Burundi, Rwanda, Nicaraguan etc), you will only be able to get great results Pro-Sumer machine. This is due to non pro-sumer machines failing to produce good results with less stable temperature settings.
Pro-Sumer machines include: Rocket, La Marzocco, Expobar, Rancilio Silvia or any E61 machine.
Non Pro-Sumer machines include: Gaggia Classic, De'Longhi or Dualit etc.
Don't have an espresso machine?
This style of coffee roast will also work well in a Cafetiere, Clever Dripper or Aeropress, offering you a full bodied full immersion coffee. -------Your coffee will be roasted within 1-16 days of purchase, with a shelf life of 6 weeks (optimum serving point of 10-36 days). We recommend letting this coffee rest for at least 12 days before using.
