This aluminum weighing plate in a black matte finish is designed to allow Lunar Scales to double as both:

A) As the scale to sit your portafilter onto to weigh your ground coffee (with the plate). Add your portafilter, TARE, grind your coffee into your basket and then weight your coffee in your portafilter.

B) As an espresso dosing scale to sit under your group head (without the plate). Note: you can also use it to house 2 cups under a group head for splitting shots.

This essentially allows you to just buy one Acaia scale for both needs.

• Tailored to fit a standard commercial portafilter or two 180mL cappuccino cups on the acaia lunar scale.

• Eva foam reinforced for sturdy grip and vibration reduction.

• Magnetic design allows quick, precise and easy placement & removal of the weighing plate.
