    The On Balance ENVY NV-3000 scale is perfect for using as an espresso shot scale. It's compact and slim design fits well under most machine group-heads.

    It's also a very decent budget option for using with filter coffee brewing methods such as V60, Kalita, Clever and Chemex 3 Cup. But it's a little too small to use with a Chemex 6 Cup.

    It's functions are basic, with a simple on/off, tare and lbs / g switch option, so no recipes or timing here. Simple, cheap and a great entry level unit to use at home.

It's compact and slim design fits well under most machine group-heads. It's large metal platform offers adequate space for holding all types of cup sizes, without being to big for the job.

      It has a maximum weight of 3000g and a measure of 0.1g; accurate enough for extraction monitoring. It has a bright backlit LED, showing the weight at any given time, alongside the unit type currently in use.

      It's a solid piece of kit that is, from our research and testing, the best product at this price point.  Note this scale is NOT water proof.
