  • Profitec is a division of ECM Manufacture, located in Heidelberg Germany. They have been producing high grade prosumer espresso machines since 1985. The company is extremely passionate about their craft and dedicated to producing exceptional products that are easy to use and produce amazing espresso in the home or office. They are still at a size that allows them to produce quantity at a level of quality associated with artisanal production.

Their products bridge the gap between the latest technology and state of the art German engineering. They are sleek, beautifully designed machines that are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional. Further, they offer a range of customised parts that open up their range to suit your needs and style.

    Profitec GO range
  • Machina became an official UK distributor of Profitec equipment in late 2021, with a view to expand the range of machines offered beyond just Rocket Espresso Milano. We see Profitec as the next stage of prosumer equipment to offer, as they are very focused on a smaller range of machines (quality over quantity), but with a wider price difference, with the new GO machine selling at Ā£769+ through to the PRO800 at Ā£2450.

Profitec were only willing to work with Machina if we had our own technical department, to provide a professional level of service and support on their equipment, plus hold a full range of parts for the models we sell. This was a really important factor for us, as it demonstrated their dedication to their brand, and investment in us as an official UK partner.

  • We offer four Profitec models representing a fantastic range across price and features, but all very high grade productions are their core.

    - The Profitec GO - a new single boiler in bold colours (Similar to the Eureka Mignon range), complete with PID at a very accessible price of Ā£769.

    - The PRO 300 - a semi automatic dual boiler, with a PID and insanely fast heat up time (like no other machine we have seen before) - for under Ā£1500, plus it's a UK exclusive with Machina.

    - The PRO 600 - an E61 dual boiler with precision PID control at under Ā£1700 (Ā£750 cheaper than a Rocket R58). *Ex Rotary Pump & mains water connection.

    - The PRO 700 - an E61 dual boiler with precision PID control at under Ā£2100 (Ā£350 cheaper than a Rocket R58).Ā *Inc Rotary Pump & mains water connection.

  • ECM / Profitec was once a partner company to ECM Italy S.p.a, which was sold in 2005 and ultimately became Rocket Espresso. So ECM / Profitec were actually part of the original story and development of what is known as prosumer espresso machines, and the iconic designs of Giotto & Cellini.
