What is the Fellow Ode Gen 2?

When grinders try to tackle multiple brew methods they tend to become a master of none. In stark contrast the Ode was designed for the next generation of grinding at home with precise grind adjustment for pour-over, French press, cold brew, and more.

Following on from previous products, Fellow continue to innovate with stunning design led products that deliver quality and aesthetic in abundance. This is the improved Gen 2 version, offering new features such as:

What's the grind quality like?

The quality (uniformity) of the grind is actually very impressive. Is it at a commercial level for cafes? No, but that is why cafes pay much higher prices for their commercial grade grinders such as Mahlkonig EK43's and Compak PK100.

A better question might be, is the grind quality worth the £300 price tag, and the answer is yes, definitely. It is very consistent, fast and delivers a good level of consistency for a range of filter coffee types and styles.
