    • Description

At Storm, a small family business established in 2010, the business was built on four simple pillars: amazing flavours, consideration for tea farmers and their staff, care for the planet and care for our general wellbeing.

The flavour revolution has happened with beer and coffee and now the team at Storm are on a mission to shake up the tea industry in the same way....a Storm is Brewing!

What Storm have to say about their Sri Lankan Lemongrass & Ginger:

Our Lemongrass and Ginger tea is grown on part of a 64 acre estate maintained by just 10 workers. The estate is part of the Greenfield FLO Social & Welfare Society and is located near Hatapule, Sri Lanka at 1500 MASL. It’s a real tropical oasis growing peppercorns, jasmine, cinnamon, cashew nuts, vanilla, turmeric, jack fruit, lemons and coconuts. Rich in nature the estate is home to monkeys, porcupines, wild boar, peacocks, mongoose, rabbits, wild deer and parrots to name just a few. So remote is the land that the final 2 kilometers is a trip on foot to reach clearings on the edge of the Sri Lankan mountain range. This is as natural as it gets.

From the initial seed it takes 10 months before the first harvest of lemongrass and ginger crops, both components are then dried on tea withering beds before blending.

The flavour is bright and warming with a delicious balance between the lemony nuances and ginger bite. Naturally caffeine free.

      3g or 1 teaspoon per 250ml water
      Brew Temperature: 100 C
