The Profile

Finca Los Naranjos is loads of fun. A single estate coffee from Peru, it's way juicier and fruitier than you might expect for this origin.

As an espresso it's rich, sweet and slightly perfumed, with a deep and complex flavour profile dominated by an old school cola note. The body has an intense fruity sweetness with notes of caramel and medjool dates. Finish on a delicate waft of rose sweets, contrasted with the intensity of sugar and body throughout.

It'll go well with milk, but for optimal flavour we recommend drinking it black.

The Producer

Finca Los Naranjos is owned by Yris de la Cruz, who runs the family business in partnership with her brothers. Her farm is located in Villa Rica in the Pasco region of Peru, along the slopes of the Andes and deep into the Amazon jungle. Pasco generally doesn't produce much coffee due to its climate; however Villa Rica is situated at quite a high altitude and can therefore produce some fine speciality coffee indeed.

Yris and her brothers are committed to sustainability, as well as environmental and social responsibility. In their coffee fields you'll find beehives that support the pollination of crops, while additionally benefits the wider ecosystem. Alongside coffee they make sure to plant native trees and shrubs, protecting the land from erosion and maintaining water content in the soil.

Roasting Schedule

Your coffee will be roasted within 1-16 days of purchase, with a shelf life of 6 weeks (optimum serving point at 12-36 days old). We recommend letting this coffee rest for at least 12 days before using, in order to release excess gas which can impact the flavour of your cup.

If you would like your coffee fresh, please leave a note with your order and we will do our best to accommodate.
Delivery & Returns

Delivery
We offer UK and international shipping Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.
Orders usually take between 1-2 days within the UK, but may take up to 3 days to get to you. Orders of espresso machines and grinders may take 2-3 days longer, due to the additional bench testing service we provide. For the full particulars, please see our terms and conditions.

Returns
Returned items must be unused and be returned in original packaging with any enclosed documentation and in perfect resalable condition. Once the goods have been received back and checked, as per our terms and conditions, we will issue a full refund or exchange on receipt.
