The Eureka Mignon has become known as the 'go-to' coffee grinder for those looking for high-quality espresso grind quality for the home

-
Description
What is the Mignon Perfetto?
The Eureka Mignon is arguably the best domestic grinder out there. It's become known as the 'go to' grinder for those looking for high quality espresso grind quality for under £400. It weighs around 5.5KG, is produced in the same method as most commercial grinders (cast steel body / chassis), is easy to use, clean and is very consistent.
The Perfetto is the second of three versions that make up the latest Mignon range. This is the cross over model complete with touch screen controls and 50mm burr set. In the touch screen you have the ability to program two separate doses to what ever time you wish to a 0.1 second intervals (the icons show single and double dosing). It's precise, robust and delivers exceptional grind quality for the money.
What does Chrome CR stand for?
The Mignon's have a large range in colours and finishes, and pricing differs depending on your choices. This version is for the 'Standard colours' with a CR (Chrome front panel and hopper cover area).
What's different about the Perfetto?
The perfetto can grind for espresso and filter - with a range from cafetiere to Turkish. It does this through installing an extended spring inside the micrometric dial, allowing the range to be much broader than usual. Whilst it has a larger range for grinding ability, it foregoes some level of accuracy, particularly for espresso.
So who's it suited to?
The Perfetto is the mid range option for those that want digital controls, but are not fussed about an extra 5mm on their burr size you get on the Specialita model. If you are looking for an excellent domestic grinder that can deliver for both espresso and filter, you will be hard pressed to find a better option at this price point.
KEY POINT: If you need a super accurate grinder for an espresso machine, opt for the Silenzio or Specialita instead. However, if you are looking for a grinder that is a good happy medium between say a filter machine (like a Moccamaster) and a home espresso machine (such as a Gaggia Classic, Dualit, Di-Longhi etc), then it's the perfect match for you.
Key features:
The Specialita is the highest specification version in the range, coming with some amazing features including:
• Re-styled body & hopper.
• Upgraded grind trigger switch.
• 50mm burrs.
• Digital touch screen display
• Improved grind speed.
• Hands free portafilter holder.
• Reduced clumping.
Warranty info:
The Eureka Mignon v3 comes with a standard 2 year back to base warranty with Machina. *See terms and conditions for further information.
