This is the Compak E5. It's an on-demand 58mm flat burr grinder. It's built in the traditional style, with a rounded body, collar adjustment and on demand dosing.

What is the E5?

The E5 is a high grade commercial on-demand espresso grinder, built to an exceptional standard with some solid features to match. Built around a robust steel casing / powder coated in matt black, traditional (below hopper) precision / stepless collar adjustment, fitted with 58mm flat burrs for fast precise grinding, equipped with easy to use digital controls on the front of the unit. There are very few good grinders at this level circa £1000), and the E5 is one of the best choices at this price point.

Ultra sleek design, very robust, precision build quality and ultra quality grind, all contribute towards what is an amazing unit.

The stock version in the UK comes with the 3 dose option via the touchscreen, with a standard 800g hopper.

Who's it suited to?

The E5 is perfect for bars, restaurants and cafes serving relatively low low volumes of around 50-100 coffees a day. It's a premium espresso grinder that is very robust, does not overheat, looks stylish and is very precise.
