Clockwork is our signature espresso blend. Created to offer a speciality grade blend to those needing a great all-rounder, it’s a versatile and easy to use coffee that can be served black or white.

Clockwork is made up of two seasonal lots, sourced specifically for this blend.

From Brazil, Rancho Grande is a pulped naturally processed coffee of the Mundo Novo varietal that gives Clockwork its body and creamy mouth-feel.

This is paired with a Peruvian single farm micro-lot called Jaime Vasquez Rojas, a washed coffee of two different varietals - Caturra & Bourbon. This coffee brings honey sweetness to the blend, as well as giving it a layer of complexity to counter the body.

This combination produces flavour notes of Milk Chocolate, Honeycomb and Malted Biscuit.

Please note: We have just had to raise our prices on both blends ever so slightly to accommodate increasing green coffee prices. We have avoided doing this for over 2 years now, but we have now been forced to add £2.00 to each KG .

What machines can I make this coffee on?

Due to its compromising nature, Clockwork works well in all kinds of espresso machines, whether you have a high-end setup such as a Rocket, Marzocco, Expobar (Prosumer) or the likes of a Rancilio Silvia, Gaggia Classic, De'Longhi or Dualit.

Don't have an espresso machine?

This coffee will also work well in a Cafetiere, Clever Dripper or AeroPress, offering you a full-bodied full immersion coffee.

We roast on Tue, Wed & Thurs. Your coffee will be roasted within 5-10 days of purchase, with a shelf life of 4 weeks (optimum serving point of 11-35 days).

Please bear in mind that coffee fresher than 12 days, is usually too fresh and will not taste good unless rested further, as it still contains too much gas and needs to open up.  If you would rather have rested coffee, just put a note in the order and let us know and if we have rested stock we will send you that instead.
