Kyondo is our latest Ugandan espresso that will undoubtedly captivate the taste buds.

It showcases a full-bodied richness with a tantalising blend of flavours. Kyondo hosts juicy notes of plum, sugarcane and a bright, crab apple acidity, providing a crisp and vibrant contrast to the espresso's fullness.

While its profile seems tailor-made for a black brew, it surprises when blended with milk, unveiling a remarkable sweetness with the perfect amount of cut through.

The Farmers

Ugandan coffee is a gem within the world of specialty coffee, celebrated for its unique flavours and rich history. Kyondo is a delicious lot from the central part of the Rwenzoris. There are 1280 registered smallholder farmers in this area, with an average plot size of less than 1 acre.

The land ranges from 1600-2000 masl and this high altitude produces large, sweet cherries which, after processing at a wet mill in Nyabirongo, give rise to typically fruity, well balanced natural coffee.

The country's coffee beans boast an eclectic array of taste notes, influenced by Uganda's distinct climate and geography. With altitudes ranging from the lush slopes of Mount Elgon to the fertile terrains of Lake Victoria, Ugandan coffee embodies a rich tapestry of flavours - making them an essential experience for the truly dedicated coffee explorer.

Roasting Schedule

Your coffee will be roasted within 1-16 days of purchase, with a shelf life of 6 weeks (optimum serving point at 12-36 days old). We recommend letting this coffee rest for at least 12 days before using, in order to release excess gas which can impact the flavour of your cup.

If you would like your coffee fresh, please leave a note with your order and we will do our best to accommodate.
Delivery & Returns

Delivery
We offer UK and international shipping Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.
Orders usually take between 1-2 days within the UK, but may take up to 3 days to get to you. Orders of espresso machines and grinders may take 2-3 days longer, due to the additional bench testing service we provide. For the full particulars, please see our terms and conditions.

Returns
Returned items must be unused and be returned in original packaging with any enclosed documentation and in perfect resalable condition. Once the goods have been received back and checked, as per our terms and conditions, we will issue a full refund or exchange on receipt.
